Correct your meta-robots

You've just completed an audit of your site, and are surprised to discover that a significant number of URLs don't have the right properties in your meta-robots tags. This could potentially lead to cannibalization, with URLs that you don't want indexed in the SERPs, or vice versa!

Let's take a look at how to correct this in just a few minutes with our two "Bulk SEO" and "SEO Recommendation" applications.

Modifier vos balises <meta name="robots" /> avec l’application « Bulk SEO »

Suite à votre crawl, vous souhaitez corriger plusieurs centaines d’URLs distinctes qui n’ont pas les bonnes propriétés dans la balise <meta name="robots" />.

  1. Go to the EdgeSEO console
  2. Download the Bulk template or start from your existing file
  3. Go to the BULK SEO tab
  4. Dans la colonne <url> ajoutez l’URL dont vous souhaitez modifier
  5. Dans la colonne <meta-robots> ajoutez les propriétés que vous souhaitez appliquer : index / noindex, follow / nofollow séparées par une « , »
  6. Example:
    1. <url> : https://www.mon-site.fr/coucou-les-edgees
    2. <meta-robots> : index,follow
  7. Export the Bulk SEO file as a CSV file
  8. Go to the EdgeSEO dashboard
  9. Click on the "Bulk SEO" application
  10. Export the BULK SEO tab of your Google Sheet as a CSV file
  11. Upload your CSV file to the Bulk SEO application
  12. Click on the "deploy" button
  13. ... wait a few seconds ⏱️
  14. Rendez-vous sur l’URL pour voir la modification de la balise <meta name="robots" />.
